Before I realized that PS:E =/= Photoshop CC, I was highly curious what your alternatives would be for that (PS:CC). AFAIK, PS CC blows everything else out of the water when it comes to hybridized digital art/photos & graphic design. No?
But as far as photo editing (though donno about cataloguing) Lightroom is god awful for sure. I only knew of C1 but now that I looked into Affinity...man that seems to blow everything else out the water as far as pure photography editing goes. Though, if you're someone who just likes/wants a streamlined, quick and elegant LR-esque experience, I do imagine you'd go with C1.
If I could, I would leave LR/Ai/AE in a heartbeat. Just don't know if there is greener grass elsewhere for the latter 2.
