This is apparently how much free space I have left in my Adobe cloud account.

What kind of pie chart is this? Why is that part in the lower right-hand corner weird?

Awesome! Now if only the IPhone Pro Max would support the… Apple Pencil.

Heaven!

Good to see the app. But hate the subscription model. Quite costly. Adobe should consider having one time payment option. But don't think that will ever happen.

Also, while Affinity has great software, especially at the price point, it really is lagging behind without AI. I also predict that Affinity will never have AI without a monthly subscription to cover the costs of hosting AI cloud computing.

Affinity 2.6 already incorporates the first functional “on-device” Machine Learning models.

Adobe apps are crashing 50% of the time? If that were actually the case people would not be using the software. I speak from experience spending every day using Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I can count the number of times any of these apps have crashed all of last year on one hand.

Adobe is a company like any other, trying to make money by providing a product people want. So not sure what makes them any more crooked than any other company. People were angry at Serif for selling to Canva, are they crooked now too and unworthy of your money? People want Adobe, their subscriptions are growing (last time I checked) and they offer a great service in my opinion. Again Adobe is not being made for those casual users who want to tinker with photoshop or make a flyer for your community bbq. They are pro apps for pro users. And by pro I mean people who make their living with their software.
Welcome to the MR where the main theme is to complain about everything.
Yeah, I can tell you by this thread most people do not use Adobe. Even if it was for free they would still complain and find a reason to not use it.
I also use it everyday and crashes are minimal now. There was a period where it was bad but it's solid now.
Look how people got angry at me even mentoning that CC pricing in 2025 is not that bad, good actually. It is one of my least expensive subsciptions for a ton of software. People will complain about Adobe 30-50 bucks with a software that you can make a living with but will happily pay double for their Netflix and Disney+ subscription monthly. Insane.

Industry has shifted, very few companies offer one time payment now. Apple is one of the exceptions.

Even HP wants to make their printers a subscription service.
Hardware wise is a different thing and I can wholeheartedly be angry at this with everyone else. But if you want up to date software with constant new features I'm afraid this is necceseary evil.

Got tired of being tied to Adobe, went to Affinity and Pixelmator, where you can own the apps outright. I had bought PS and AI CS6 outright and they stopped me from using them. Goodbye forever, Adobe. No more.

Who stopped you from using Adobe CS6? There are legit ways of activating the software still. Of course you have to be using an old version of Mac OS. This is where Windows is much better, they don't have these apps being obsolete with an OS update. You can still run software (if you wanted to) that is 25+ years old in Windows 11. I have software that would cost be $7000 for a used version with reg dongle just so I could run it in a newer Mac OS. Developers and Apple really take people to the cleaner on this.

Subscription? Nope!
Photoshop on the iPhone does not require a subscription. Like most apps in the market, there is a free version with, actually, quite a lot of core functionality (unlimited layers, masks, most selection tools, etc), with the option to upgrade to a paid subscription for a few more tools.

Those who need it for their work? Yes.
Those who need an occasional editing of a photo? No.
This is the way.

Sorry I forgot to mention I was emphasizing just on hobbyists, if it's for work then the cost should've been covered by work and that's a different story… though I bet it's going to be rough for small/medium business owners.
