Apple "thought about how to carefully" do search ads in a way that "customers will be happy with."

Hahahahaha if you say so, Phil.

Ad looks like this by the way

Weird. I've been seeing those for a while now - the light blue button with "AD" inside it? Yeah, been in the App Store for a few months or so. I'm in the USA. Why is it being announced as a new thing?

This is not something Steve would have allowed. It seems Apple is repeating the mistakes of the past. This is not pro-consumer, and I don't think anyone should be ok with this, IMO.

Phil Schiller and his greed gang: Sorry, Apple devices are ad free, that's why customers buy them.

Phil Schiller on the route to killing the App Store and then iOS.
Steve would have stopped this nonsense.

So it's true. The only reason for a larger screen on iPhone 6 / 6s / 7 was to display advertisements.

What a flipping joke!

[doublepost=1475827400][/doublepost]Apple is killing Apple. Who would have thought again after Steve Jobs' departure the company would repeat stupid mistakes based on shareholder greed instead of customer focused directions.

Do I dump my stock now or wait for it to evaporate?

At least with Amazon you can choose to buy a device without ads or pay less and get ads.
