Ads overlapping navigational links on home page

For the past few days, various square ads have been overlapping the navigational links on the top of the home page. Happens in both landscape and portrait modes on my iPhone 5S but not on my Mac Mini.

I can confirm on iPhone 6S running iOS 9.2. Even happens with Google Contributor:

sorry it took me a while. I added a fix for now that will prevent the overlap. We can't control the size easily (that logic is outside our control), but at least we can prevent the overlap.
