Hmmm... I never noticed the return address, or at least I haven't remembered it. But I do know that the west coast always seems to get scores in the mail before anyone else.

Congrats to all those who've received passing scores!
I took AP Physics and AP English when I was in high school so many years ago. I didn't pass either exam. Physics I expected; no one passed it. The salutatorian of our class actually drew pictures on the exam instead of answering the questions -- that always amused me. English shocked me a bit, but my essay about Crime & Punishment rambled on horribly I'm sure. In the end it didn't matter -- I still finished college in 4 years. I'm now close to finishing my Masters degree and plan to go for my PhD in the fall of 2009.
So to all those who don't receive passing scores, don't fret!

Yepp. That was a hard test. What would you rather write a DBQ on? Vietnam (2008) or farming from 1865-1900 (2007)? Although I did not think the populism essay was too hard, I would have had more fun an an easier time with Vietnam.
Nothing today either... I really wouldn't mind if I didn't know people had already gotten them. But since I know they have been sent to some people, I keep expecting it to come. Monday?

On the little booklet I marked "to test my mastery of the subject matter" because my school doesn't accept 2/3 of my APs, and my one accepted one I did horrible on.
I'm excited to see my AP US score, I think I did well on it. My English was almost too easy, so I'm on edge about what my score might be. I finished early, so on the page with the books listed for "literary merit" I drew a portrait of Mr. Darcy from P&P. haha.

Haha. I love Pride and Prejudice. Although I don't know how Darcy looks like so I would probably do it from the movie...but I liked the novel better
...Oh and I didn't get any DBQ last year o Vietnam or something...I don't remember what I got but it definately wasn't on farming or Vietnam...but I would have done it on Vietnam too.
I don't remember ever learning about farming in Vietnam.

If you took the 2007 test, perhaps you took the form B test?
It was about farming in America, during the Populist movement. Take a look at the 2007 DBQ. Farming in Vietnam probably is not very relevant to anything.

Anyways. Has anybody other than Watabou received their score report yet? It is getting increasingly more annoyed as each day passes and nothing shows up in the mail.
Mine came in the mail today, one of the few days that I'm home this summer from switzerland. I was quite surprised, I got fives on everything (bc calc, german, european history, world history). I didn't think that I'd get a 5 on anything except german, but I guess today is my lucky day.

I've used the Barron's books for every AP test that I've taken so far. I just read them cover to cover and take one practice test. Then I see what I got wrong and study that stuff. And then I take the 2nd practice test, which I typically do pretty well on. Then load the essays with BS and I've done well most of the time. I've got like eight 5s and 3 fours. I just wasn't expecting to do this well this time around.
Wow! Nice! I thought three 5s were good but you have me outdone. My report also came today but of course it came after I left for a trip. Good to know it finally came though.
I got my results in the mail yesterday and I was so excited because I got a 5 on AP Government which I wasn't expecting. I was more expecting a 4, but I'm happy!

Congratulations to you as well. I got a 4 on that one, it wasn't my favorite area of study.
Oh thanks. Congrats on your many 5s as well. It's interesting that I did so well also because the program I'm in at my school requires us to take it as a freshman... (it's an IB program)
