I noticed that after I went in and changed the frequency from daily to monthly and back to daily... new ones started to appear.

I haven't reset my ATV (not worth the hassle to reconfigure), but I have seen a few new ones lately.

So it seems they do propagate, if rather slowly. And I think the longer the ATV is allowed to display them, the more it will download.

The smaller file 350MB files sizes that came with the recent update also correspond to shorter duration videos.

I thought I saw a new one late last week. Last night it just looped on the same 2-3 screen savers all night. :(

It finally got to the point where the set of screen savers in use were ones I liked, so I changed the download setting to "Never."

Today, I see the ATV has downloaded new ones that I don't particularly care for.

Makes me wonder why there simply isn't a single checkbox labeled "Enable" or an On/Off switch.

The settings present now seem to be just for show. Or some sort of joke.

I have switched to the other Apple Photo screensaver. figuring, by the time i switch back, if they are still the same 3-5 Aerial Videos I will not be so used to them at that point.

bummer, I get it takes some time and data to get new ones but I was hoping for more videos over time instead of the same ones over and over.

I started seeing new ones few weeks ago. The Dubai at night is spectacular.

I know, just beautiful - there's a site that lists all the screensavers with example photos, a few I haven't been able to identify.

Have you seen the airport and/or beach?

It's 2019 now and AppleTV still has the same stupid problem. The same 10 screensavers are showing, some as old as 5 years. Yet, there are over 80 available now, they never show. Having gone through resets and brand new AppleTVs, it's always the same. It's absolutely mind boggling how ignorant they are. Meanwhile, the independently developed AppleTV Mac screensaver app shows everything and settings up the wazoo. I'm just so frustrated, I want to see all those videos on the big screen.

I wish they'd bake in the ability to select/only view your favorite screensavers. I think the AppleTV variant of AerialTV did that, but the developer confirmed its no longer available for download from the TV App Store.
