A new front has opened...

First we had to deal with Android owners feelings now we have a new group to deal with the 6/6s owners

Those are generally the same group of people. At least among people I know probably a quarter of the people who had the 5/5S upgraded to the 6 the rest didn't want a big phone, and most of the sales seemed to be driven by android switchers.

Something else I've noticed since having the SE for a couple days. I normally rest my phone in my right hand with the bottom portion of the phone leaning on my inside pinky finger with my thumb guiding actions. I can now reach my thumb all the way to the top corners of the screen all with one hand feeling very confident, typing with my thumb. It's something I couldn't do with my 6s without it wobbling or fear of it tilting out of my hands.

Also sent mine back due to eye strain and headaches. Probably more to do with the onset of middle age than Apples fault.

Really loved the phone and the software but just couldn't get on with the 4 inch screen. The obvious solution is the 6s but I just cant stomach the cost of the 64gig and the 16gig is a joke :)

Me 2 I would love the smaller size but my eyesight is so bad and I'm only 26 years old so there is only one option the iPhone 7 plus but I'm happy for all the 4 inchers. I still gotta wait 6 months. lol

This is so fake.. This guy clearly didnt have any iPhone ever. He is just trolling.
Look his previous topics/posts.

He is a loser android user
Keep dreaming with owning an iPhone, boy

Duuuuuuuudeeeeeeeeee

Poor baby, Ive been on these boards since 2007 and have owned every single iteration of the iphone to date starting from the original and including every S model. Having a blast with my SE. Couldn't imagine returning it.
Now I've got my iPhone 6s Plus on my main line and my SE on my third line. Also using my work issued iPhone 6 with Good Tech for work.
So using all three iPhone sizes. Fun to experiment and see how each behaves.
But to the point of the thread, loving my SE.

I was using swype on my 6S, but now I can actually lift and type with 1 hand so I do not need it. I hate the way 3rd party keyboards integrate with IOS. They look sloppy and the emoji screen is a nightmare.

Not to mention they record all keystrokes. Sketchy.

I will be surprised if the return rate isn't at least 25% for those who had a larger iPhone. I am sure Apple can live with that.

And if someone had a 5, why didn't they upgrade to the 5s back when? Food for thought.

I do not see it being a big seller, time will tell.

Schiller informed the public that apple still sold 30 Million type 5 iPhones in 2015…. which was more than EVER before, even in 2012/2013 with its market-entry - so you really claim the 4" form factor is "not a big seller"? In fact, the iPhone 5 is the cash-cow of apple!

I am one who did skip the 5s - which for heaven´s sake leave the (even today) well-functioning iPhone 5 ???

But I will purchase a SE in 1-2 months because of the 64GB (would be fine to have the chance to buy it with 128GB).

The 5-type iPhone was the most reliable apple ever made. What in fact explained that is is still the cash-cow of apple…

as for "eye-comfort" ("eye-string"and "headache"-urban legend) :

If you disable the useless transparency-gimmick of the GUI in IOS 7, IOS 8 and IOS 9 you gain performance and battery live PLUS much better eye-comfort.
If you look about other good features, you will find the "more contrast" option and "bold" option.
These two latter options are fantastic: A giant step for eye-comfort and readability - I can nothing but recommend this! It is real pleasure and a giant step forward to use this!
Especially contacts are much better and easier to read in bold and with enhanced contrast!
And you can easily zoom in in safari - so what?

with the
TrueClear Anti-Glare Screen Protector
by belkin the screen stops definitely glaring and irritating you in bright light - also a strong recommendation for better eye-comfort (which has again nothing to do with the 4" form factor as such).

Single thing still embarrassing has - again - nothing to do with the 4" form factor, but with an customer-hostile Jony-Ive-exageration still existing in IOS 9: You cannot zoom contacts, notes and apple store (BTW: not even in OSX) - this is RIDICULOUS !!
You should be able to zoom everything.

The keyboard would be absolutely sufficient if apple was leaving the big bezels and finally fill (at least nearly) all the surface of the type-5-form-factor with SCREEN - as do already their competitors. and of course stay with the classic dimensions of the iPhone 5 outer form factor the which could not be better in terms of ergonomic features.

Knew it. Same reasons a couple years ago who returned a 6 Plus is now getting accustomed to the larger displays and is now turning their back against "4.

Expect this iPhone to be secondary to many people and not as a multimedia player or main texting device. Unless you have small hands or haven't adapted yet, you are going back to the stone ages. As a primary? Alot of us need a bare minimum of "5. Perhaps my bare minimum will go up to "5.5 after a couple years.
You can only see marginally more on a 4.7" iPhone than on a 4" iPhone. Now the Plus is a different story, but I don't think is as comparable as the SE to the 6S. I compared my 6 to my friend's SE and was surprised how little of a difference there was.

2 tweets vs 2.4 tweets. 1.5 macrumors posts vs 1.8. Etc. A little more scrolling, but not a world of difference. Also, all of these people discussing eye strain amuse me. Icons, text, and UI elements are the SAME SIZE. There's just more of it on the 4.7" phone.

The biggest difference to me is the keyboard width. It takes some adjusting, but is not a huge issue.

nice to know your hands are growing at that rate. so in say 10 years, your bare minimum phone would be what, a 15"?
