Weird.. not running OpenSSH and location services (gps) still won't work for me :/

me too -- removing openssh and rebooting doesn't bring back gps on my ipad 3G.
also the commands in iPad jb compatibility list doesnt help.
it appears there's another culprit than openssh.

working now ,had airplane mode on ,:D switched it off .
resetting network setting also seem to do the trick.

I've used SSH to add a different badge to Backgrounder, and I just want to confirm something:

If I remove it via Cydia, it won't break my badge, will it? Also, will I be able to download it again once it gets updated without messing up the badge? I'm thinking it'll be fine, just want to hear it from someone else ;)

Edit: Well, I just did it anyways and yes, uninstalling OpenSSH breaks whatever badges or changes you have set. :( I lost my badge, but at least my NES ROMs are still in place. It doesn't make sense, but whatevs. Ultimately, screw it. Location services aren't important enough to need to pass up using SSH. That's my analysis :)

Edit2: Duh, I updated Backgrounder before removing SSH, so that's why my badge returned to the regular circle/burst thing. my bad, disregard first edit :)

Hmmm... It fixed it for me on TWO of our iPads. I'm surprised.

Bumping this in case anyone else missed it. Removing OpenSSH gave my wifi/16 its location back. I've also read that OpenSSH may be the reason for some "ghost taps" I've experienced intermittently.
