Just yesterday my mac pro started exhibiting some strange behavior: once I put it to sleep, it instantly wakes up. The screen turns off for a moment but then the fans spin back up and it is on once again. I've been poking around in Console to try and figure out what is going on, but I'm not too sure. Does anyone have any help? It would greatly appreciated.

This is something that may be relevant I think...

Mine does that if I have USB devices connected to the hub on my monitor, when the monitor goes into powersave the usb devices disconnect the causing a change on the bus and the MP wakes up again. Don't know if you've got the same setup but just a suggestion?

It looks like a Bluetooth device is waking the machine.

There is an option to disable this in System Preferences -> Keyboard & Mouse "Bluetooth" tab.

Uncheck "Allow Bluetooth devices to wake this computer"

These things and more can wake a Mac from sleep--when I shut off my HP printer my iBook G4 (running Tiger) wakes up if the printer is connected to my iBook and if my iBook is asleep.

From wake to sleep to wake to sleep over and over again is something that happens when I have my USB flash (thumb) drive plugged in to my iBook. It looks like this is a possibility of what could be happening with Freg3000.
