Other After seeing pics, I regret getting Midnight Green. The more I see it in photos and videos, the more I ha*e it.

I didn't order the phone but just wanted to say, I learned the hard lesson a while back that silver is always the way to go.
The green is really gorgeous because it’s matte, on Apple’s website it looks kinda glossy which makes it look dull and ugly imo.
Depending on the light source it can look blueish or dark grey. It’s the most beautiful colour on an iPhone to be honest.
Silver is boring after 1 month.

I think one of the reasons there are so many posts under this thread is that people genuinely have ambiguous feelings towards the midnight green color
During preorder, I had hard time deciding whether I should get my all-time favorite White or the new color option. My decision to get the Green was mostly swayed by the power of the hype machine, and the obvious fact that it’s a new color. But after seeing the pics, I regret not trusting my gut. In pics, Green looks so dull and unrecognizable. It almost appears as dirty faded black. Zero personality. On White, the three cameras would’ve stood out much more prominently. I’m at a loss and honestly, ready to cry...
It's not like it's a tattoo. Rock it, get iPhone 12 next year. I think you're looking too much into this.
Not only have the reviews made me that much more sure that I chose the right color, but the verge review and ijustine videos made me decide that I actually think that Apple absolutely nailed the camera bump. It looks fantastic in those videos.
It's hard to choose a color based on photos, but why not just wait until your new phone arrives and you see it in person. If you really can't stand it, then exchange it for one you want. If are don't live near an Apple store, you can send it back. Good luck! Dude it's going to be in a case... I know people like this with Android and iPhones. They buy expensive phones in an attempt to make themselves look cool to their friends. Usually it's males younger than 25 but not always. Sometimes females will do it and sometimes older guys will. Some of us never grow up and that's their right I guess. It's just like how guys will buy a car to impress their friends.
Yah... and when I read your post there, there were four more pages to go. As troll threads go, that's pretty good just on volume so I'd have to score it 7/10 or so. Anyway it's passing the time while I wait for the hard boiled eggs I just put into icewater to reach a good temp for stashing in the fridge, so there's that.
But I'm bailing on the delights of the remaining pages.
If I were updating my iPhone collection this year I'd probably splurge and get that midnight green, I think it's sort of funky and intriguing, but I'm fond enough of my sunny yellow XR to hang onto it for awhile. I've kept an SE to use as my actual cellphone because I prefer the smaller form factor for toting around... the XR hangs out on my coffee table and acts like a mini iPad on WiFi only. It's another reason I didn't upgrade, waiting to see if a smaller form factor is really off the table in Apple's future phone arrays.
People that need gadgets or any other kind of objects so that they can feel important, do need help.
Anyway, for me the green color was never considered, since I really hate the color in general.
Facts. At the end of the day, no one cares what color or what kind of phone you have.

Order silver. Return green. Always trust your gut. In any given situation.
Have a look at it in person.You might like it after all. And then by all means return it if you dont like it. Dont live with dull anything.

I always thought shiny silver bezel around the device looked vile. It always ruined the look.
