Title is pretty self-explanatory. I have a year old 15" MBP (unibody, but not the absolute newest) and after the trackpad software update the click button on the bottom third of the trackpad no longer does anything. I tried to disable tapping and to my horror I could not tap or click or do anything until I plugged in a USB mouse and turned tapping back on - so the issue was worse than I thought.

I don't have any third party gesture software or anything crazy like that. Sorry if this has already been brought up - didn't see it in my first couple searches.

Thanks in advance, macrumors braintrust!

Yeah I'd seen those. They don't describe my problem nor have any fixes, so I was hoping there's something else I'm misisng. Thanks for taking the time to try to help, though.
