False. It'll be refurbished with a brand new case, screen and battery before that happens, meaning the aftermarket screen (if the OP didn't bother to change out) will be gone.

Thanks both. I had the old screen put back in prior to going back to shop. That guy needs to get his head out of his own rear end. Good job mate

Just take it in. If they replace it, great. If not, you aren't any worse off than you were before minus ten minutes of your time.
