I have heard from a few people today that the iPhone 3G has definitely been cheapened up. They could tell this from the minute they opened the box. I said it was budget and in the coming days it will be proven so.

Pics of the back were posted in other threads. Black and tons of smudges on it. Not much else to see (unless of course there are pics of a white one)

hold down the power button and look at the dim icons, are they shimmery when looked at straight on?

Yup, in the 2.0 Golden Master there is a Contacts app on the iPhone, which appears on the 2nd page.

Thanks for that info, but what's it for? I just watched a demo on the apple site and they used the 'phone' app and it did everything that the contacts app on the iPod touch does.

also, if you have several iPhone 3G demos, could you put them all to the test if possible? Or do you only have one activated?
