I've never checked for this before with my old iPad so I guess I'm not sure what "normal" should look like. Would you be willing to post a pic?

That's very good, especially since it's over-exposed. What brightness level?
 
That was with the brightness all the way up. With the brightness lower it looks much blacker

Hah, well in that case it looks excellent. I wouldn't worry one bit. I was pleasantly surprised to find my iPad Air looks as good as yours, too. Since I never use that brightness in a dark room, for all intents and purposes my iPad Air has no visible light leak under any "normal" viewing conditions.

This of course can vary from unit to unit, but I remember my iPad 3 having absolutely terrible light leak.

Je suis déçu que ce problème existe encore ! Parmis tous les produits Apple je crois que j'ai toujours eu un problème ! C'est désespérant !

Et je ne peux pas tolérer ce genre de problème.

Il peut toujours y avoir des défauts, même chez Apple! Mais ne désespère pas, le service client Apple est très réactif et saura t'aider dans les plus brefs délais possibles!

I can barely see two spots with a black screen and full brightness. My colors seem great so I don't think it is worth taking back for something I will never notice. I would notice yellow/pink! And I don't have that issue.
