I have a 128 GB space grey Air which I am perfectly happy with. Has anyone with an Air bought a RMini and been able to justify havining both or is it really more practical now to pick one sine the Air is so thin and light nowL

I cant justify having both...but that didnt stop me from buying both.

It's a matter of want vs need for me not not mention not having the money to buy it. Maybe I'll check it out in the store and see what it feels like. I do still have my return. I guess maybe I'll look at it at the Apple Store tomorrow.

I day trade so I purchased a Mini-r to go with my Air and monitor stocks side by side.

I tried to use my Note 3 for it at work, kept making mistakes, the price of a RMini is nothing compared to a trade done wrong :(

Really looking forward to getting the RMini, and the Air is just off the hook, but too big to drag to work every day.

I'm hoping the retina screen can really make graphs and such pop on the Mini. Otherwise I will buy a small capacity Air to complement my 128 Air.

I tried an Android tab, one of the cheap 7" ones so I could try out the Android apps. It's collecting dust right now.

Currently trying out the new Dell Venue 8 Pro, the 8" win 8 tablet. The tablet itself is quite nice. The win apps currently available though, are useless.

I bring my Air to work everyday. What exactly prevents you from doing the same?

This is completely unrelated to what the poster was asking.

Lol, the same. I'm just curious. I mean realistically the device is smaller than a notebook. Not a notebook computer, an actual notebook. It just makes me grin when people make it out to seem like they are dragging a desktop around.

Yes, I have an Air but I am buying the retina mini to use during cardio at the gym and to use as an e-reader, in both cases the lighter option is easier to hold. But I still prefer the Air screen size for videos, sheet music, gaming and internet. So while I don't need both, I want both.

I love my Air but have ordered the new mini. Can't justify it and don't need it. Just want it! Life's too short. Just go for it if you want it (and can of course).

Planning on a 32gb Air for work and use in court. Ordered 16gb rMini as eReader, day planner, home, gym, weekend use.

I really can't see why you'd need both, but its your money and you should spent it how you see fit. Enjoy :)

I have a wifi air and getting a cellular retina mini... Had a cellular non retina mini.

My pockets fit the mini. I prefer the air to the mini though..

So do I, but I still can't justify having both:)

I had the iPad 2, and did the same, along with my 11" MBA, plus lightweight photography gear. I needed those things, so I made allowances.

Yes... I have too much money and my 5th Maserati needs a 2nd iPad in it for passenger. :p
