I set my brightness between 0% & 50% with auto brightness on when indoors. It depends on the amount of ambient light. For typical indoor use I think 100% brightness is overkill in most situations:rolleyes: there are exceptions tho.

I've always run my iPads at 30-40% auto. Plenty bright without sacrificing too much on the black level overall. If I am in direct sunlight using it, I'll run it higher, but I don't really use it in direct sunlight very often. :)

Same here. The Air is blindingly bright for me if I go much higher. That's fine, because my battery lasts forever!

Depends on what I am doing or where I am. Sitting here in an airport right now, it's on the lowest possible.

My buddy showed me something on his phone the other day and he had it at full brightness, it nearly blinded me!

I probably use it at 40-50% most of the time.

iOS 7 is very "white and bright". Going to settings/general/ accessibility / increase contrast helps. I'm keeping my iphone and iPad about 40% fixed...

Maybe I have poor or sensitive eyes my iPhone and iPad are usually 50% brightness or less.

I crank it right up whenever I feel like as the battery is more than capable of coping with it.

Only use it low when I'm in a completely dark room, the rest of the time life's too short not to show that screen off!
