In reality my response was about as productive as yours. How can you determine what is useless for everyone?

It's ok to have an opinion, but it's not ok to pass it off as fact.

If there weren't a market for this product as I remember hearing about it a while it. It wouldn't be out.

Touchbar is useless to me, to others it's not. Theatre mode on Apple Watch is useless to some. I use it every day. everyone has different requirements.

I couldn't be bothered spending much time researching this, but a quick Google finds that in 2013 for just one sales quarter, 10% of all laptops sold had a touch screen (https://www.theverge.com/2013/5/21/...ed-last-quarter-had-a-touchscreen-displaybank).

I'd like to bet that this number had increased year on year, so it's clear there is a market for them, whether you think they have a use or not.
