Hello,

Airdrop isn't showing up in my Finder on Sequoia. When I enable it in Finder settings, the checkmark appears and then disappears repeatedly until it stays checked. However, Airdrop still doesn't appear in the sidebar.

I can send files from my iPhone to my Mac via “Share” using Airdrop, and the files end up in “Downloads.”

How can I get Airdrop in Finder sidbar again? Thx.

Since no one here could help me, anyone else could also ask Gemini (by the way, I’ll be doing that more often now—it works great), but anyway, you’re right—here’s the solution that helped me:

“Sidebar Cache Refresh” via Terminal:

Code:
killall Dock
killall Finder
