So the sound quality on the Airpod-2 remains the same as the predecessor is it ?

Apple sometimes doesn't mention what kind of changes but I also doubt it has been improved. I also would love to get much better quality.

That's very Bad ! If the Audio Quality has not been further more improved !!

I doubt the sound quality is necessarily a general complaint with the AirPods, when I think the trade off is rather having more battery life is equally more important. Personally, the AirPods actually have decent sound quality with the treble and bass, it’s crisp enough of a sound that I generally don’t have any complaints, and I think they suffice for what they’re offering.

Now, what Apple _could_ be improved upon, is adding features like [water resistance, noise cancellation, additional colors], etc.

Without sound isolation, how much better do you want them to sound? Their sweet spot isn't to be micro studio monitors, but to be wire-free headsets while still being in the world.

I know everyone's desires are different, but I love that I can listen to music on my Airpods and still hear people asking for me, the car/bicycle about to hit me, or whatever else might be going on around me (which all means it would muddy any audio purity the Airpods could offer anyway). If I want to shut out the world, I'll pop in Bose active noise cancellation buds and listen to the more-complete audio spectrum there.

Seeing as Apple just added v2 without much fanfare, a major improvement like an Audio boost may instead come in v3.

To begin with Firstly they are not as loud as others in the market are. Second they do not have enough BASS ! So except for the fact that they are Apple and they offer the convenience of being wireless earbuds. Sound quality is very mediocre IMO !!

Maybe your standards of listening are not as high as mine,

If I put them on 100% volume, it's too loud for my ears, so either they don't fit right in your ears (not sealing ideally) or your hearing's depleted?

Bass is hefty when listening to RnB. Fidelity could be better though....maybe v3.

Talk about yourself !! Maybe your standards of listening are not as high as mine, but they certainly are not the best sounding ones !! So it maybe fine for you but it is not for a lot of people out there !!

Apple Fanboys are often so blindfolded that they come out with this kind of statements like "your hearing is depleted" and so on...Have you seen the world outside what it offers ?

How would you know that the AirPods are not the best sounding ones out there for “a lot of people”? That seems like a pretty broad stroked-statement, does it not?

I edited my post to reflect ‘not’.

So which leads me back to my question that you didn’t answer, how would you know the AirPods are not the ‘best sounding ones for a lot of people’? Again, that’s nothing more than an anecdotal opinion. You would have no way of knowing that, which anyone can make the counter argument, the AirPods have been extremely popular since December 2016, and I’m willing to believe the battery life trumps the sound quality easily.

That is called Hasty reading and lack of understanding !! Again you are jumping the gun and not ready to believe the fact, How would I know ? oh Well ! There are tons of reviews, of Airpods and Airpods comparison with a lot of other equivalent Wireless Earbuds. Looks like you have not seen or heard any of those. It does not take Rocket Science. Did you read my post when I said first, Airpods offer great convenience for the utility that they offer that does not necessarily translates into them being a good quality earphone/buds. I am just disputing about the Audio Quality ! Who the hell said anything about Battery ??

I’m not questioning your first post, I’m questioning the part that I quoted earlier, that you mentioned if the audio quality had “not been improved further, that was bad”. Which led me to reply to you saying, ‘I don’t think the audio quality is of a concern with the AirPods, considering The battery life is more of a crucial experience than the sound is. ‘

However, this is what you said:

That's very Bad ! If the Audio Quality has not been further more improved !!

*********************

I am just disputing about the Audio Quality !

You said the ‘AirPods are not the best sounding ones for a lot of people.’ I’m just curious How would you know what someone’s sound preferences are with the AirPods at all? You can’t judge that based of reading a internet review, given Apple has sold millions of units across the world with the AirPods, and I am fairly confident the sound quality is not an issue that you’re making it, when the real convenience is with the battery life, portability and ease-of-use.

So are you going to answer the question,

Do you have comprehending issues? I have already answered that !!

you said the ‘AirPods are not the best sounding ones for a lot of people.’ How would you know what someone’s sound preferences are with the AirPods at all?
And same can be implied even for poeple who think otherwise !

You can’t judge that based of reading a internet review,

Ok, so now you are gonna question, the whole Internet Generation and Era !! Only a Martian would talk like that !!

given Apple has sold millions of units across the world with the AirPods, and I am fairly confident the sound quality is not an issue that you’re making it, when the real convenience is with the battery life, portability and ease-of-use.

Your confidence and belief does not matter !!

And it does not reflect Mass Sentiment. You don't work for Bloomberg or NYT do you ?

You didn’t answer anything. You just dismissed it by posting ‘you read an Internet review’ that were comparing the sound quality. What I’m saying is, you can’t speak for ‘millions’ of people when you determine the overall popularity of this product. I don’t believe the sound quality is that much of an issue that you’re making it appear, considering the Apple sold millions of units over the course of two years, and easily is one of the most popular accessories ever to the iPhone was the AirPods. Why? Because the sound quality is not a priority as much is the battery life, portability, and convenience is.

I don’t think your Post doesn’t boast your argument with a broad stroked statement about the sound, the reality is, the AirPods is perfectly fine for what they offer for sound for the majority, is some of the competition better? Sure, The sound quality is exactly isn’t the problem. Where the improvements could have been improved for version two was added water resistance, noise isolation, things like this that mean Way-more than just improved sound quality for a pair of wireless AirPods.

I get it now, you have some understanding issues !! You keep rambling the same thing again and again !! That I did not answer...I did not answer... I am not gonna say it again !!

Just as you think Sound Quality is not an issue for a lot of people, I am saying it is, for a lot of people.

I said this in my very first post, the sheer reason that Airpods are more popular than ever before is for the sheer convenience that they offer, which is perhaps not the best sound quality !

Now don't come back again saying...You did not understand my point ! And I did not answer it !

If you did not understand it I cannot help you with that !

Just as you think Sound Quality is not an issue for a lot of people, I am saying it is, for a lot of people.

Again, you can’t say something you have no validation of, and I’m willing to believe this is not true at all. This is my whole argument was about with you, is that you’re making some broad stroke claim that the sound quality is an issue for a lot of people, when clearly it is not. If it was, then why was Apple able to sell millions of units, when these AirPods were sold out for months before anyone could even Purchase a pair. So I’m not willing or inclined to believe anything you’re saying without having any evidence supporting otherwise, not when the counter argument is that the AirPods have easily succeeded expectations by most with the sound, battery life and convenience.

From Apple Website "Powered by the all-new Apple H1 headphone chip, AirPods deliver a faster and more stable wireless connection to your devices — up to 2x faster when switching between active devices,3 and a 1.5x faster connection time for phone calls.4 The H1 chip also drives voice-enabled Siri access and delivers up to 30 percent lower gaming latency.5 So whether you’re playing games, listening to music, or enjoying podcasts, you’ll experience higher-quality sound."
