They are bluetooth 5.

And yet the range isn’t any better, at least in my testing. WTF Tim Cook! Higher priced BS for very minor upgrades. Low blow!

Can somebody please confirm - the article says these are BlueTooth 5 complaint but I recall many people unable to see if that was the case...

My testing says range isn’t any different than the originals, sadly!
