Airpods At Walmart, BB, Walmart, Etc..?

If mine does this I am going to be sooooo upset. Did you order when it showed delivery for this week, or when it showed backordered and it just went to preparing on its own?
When it showed Feb 7th. Went to Preparing, then Backordered. Backordered is part of the Preparing step.

Hmmm ok. I ordered when it showed delivery for Wednesday and bumped it to tomorrow with overnight shipping... I'm hoping my order doesn't switch to backordered... my "get by" date is 12/20 on my order status page.
Hey all, just ordered through Verizon's website, expected delivery on 12/22.

I ordered mine a few hours ago when BB had delivery by December 22nd. I was worried because my order doesn't show up on Best Buy site or anywhere. Paid with Apple Pay. Called Best Buy and automated call thing said my order was "being prepared" and was to be delivered by Thursday December 22nd so I'm going to take that as a good sign, despite not seeing any confirmation email or being able to find order anywhere.

Had no luck with Best Buy, so went with Verizon and paid for overnight, says will get to me tomorrow, guess we will see.

I have zero self control. Even though I've got my Best Buy order supposedly delivering tomorrow I'm terrified it's going to switch to backordered, so I also placed an overnighted order with Verizon for delivery by 10:30am. It said tomorrow so we'll see. If it shows up and Best Buy does too I'll just return the ones to Best Buy or something because Verizon would deliver first...
I ordered a pair from Best Buy because of people on here having some luck... Instead just ordered next day on VZW. Says delivery tomorrow by 8pm. Come on Big Red!!

Justy ordered through VZW as well for delivery tomorrow. Here is hoping!
Ordered from BB three hours ago. Two day shipping. Just now the status went from preparing to shipped. :^)

I got tempted as well. BB says preparing but went ahead and ordered from VZW for next day.
Yup same, 10:30 AM baby. If my BB order goes through and I get it Wednesday as stated, I'll just drive to the BB store and return it in person. At least there's no $35 restocking fee.
Check out Verizon Wireless. I just ordered online from VW at 8:15PM MST, can choose $14.99 for Next Day by 10:30AM, $12.99 for Next Day by 8:00PM delivery, etc. Says mine will be delivered tomorrow.

thanks to this post, i just ordered through Verizon as well. for next day....here's hoping i can get them tomorrow. or i will have to wait til wednesday when i'm off.
It says that next day orders placed by 11PM ET will be delivered the following day.
I just ordered from Verizon as well since Best Buy is still stuck in processing. Hopefully one of them is fulfilled.
I, too, placed a next day order with Verizon. I'm just sick of waiting; I've waited long enough! Now it's just one more sleep away...
