Never again. These have a condensation problem that they refuse to acknowledge. Worked great for two years, stopped. Got them replaced on AppleCare, worked great for two years, stopped.

Now they wanna charge $300 to fix. **** that.

This is a flawed product design and Apple sticks you with it eventually once AC runs out.

I wanted to buy these to replace my old Bose quiet comfort headphones for use around the home… but the recent “update” is imo just silly marketing and the price is even more whack, even on sales like this. I don’t think the Apple-convenience is worth it.

AirPods Max 2 are the best studio-grade cans on the consumer market. They could easily be priced $1097.77 or more.

APMs are a joke and always have been. Give us a fresh more Apple-like design (Bose out-did Apple here with the 700 headphones), H3 processors, a real carrying case, and a more competitive price.

If you removed the logos and knowledge of which is which, almost everyone would pick the 700 as the Apple product.

LOL! Yeah right. My Sennheiser Momentum 4 beat them in every aspect and they cost 180 Euros at the moment.

I bought the Gen2 Quiet Comfort and they are excellent. Light weight and really good sound.

MBP can be a bit heavy, you don't put it on your head.

And if you do put it on your head, try to avoid holding it in that way...

Have you actually held the Bose's and APM2's in hand?

I have owned both, yes.

I was speaking about the visual aspect of the design though.

Built like a heavy tank, as APMs are, is not an advantage when it goes on your head.

I currently use some Bose QC cans that are so incredibly light and comfortable on the head. I got them for $120.

Light, comfy, power button, easy to feel and use physical controls, simple wired connection if I want, folds up into a great included travel case.

The functional design of the overall package just obliterates the APM

What’s the point?
It’s like snazzy labs said in his video, if you want AirPods that just happened to be in an over ear form factor, there is really only one option.
If you’re looking for pure sound quality, look literally anywhere else because there is a lot better for a lot cheaper.
