MKBHD had nothing good to say about the case, or the fact that a 3.5mm plug wasn’t included in the box.Come on. Does anyone expect MKHBD or iJustine to say anything remotely critical of an Apple product? Otherwise bye-bye early review units.
Those things are like the illegitimate offspring of an Aeron office chair and an Apple Watch.
Not a fan of these headphones.
i thought the time of big over the ear headphones was over.

Some of them. I do like many of them like MKBHD and Average Consumer because I do think for the most part they are unbiased. Unbox Therapy will destroy these if they aren't good as Lew is a big headphone guy.Anyone else find these tech youtubers really hard to watch? There is just no substance to them. I’ll wait for the verge review.
Commuting in New York, people wearing over the ear headphone outside has increased a lot over the years, especially in the colder months when the headphones act like ear muffs. Not a fan of these headphones.

I think he's probably one of the most impartial reviewers out there to be honest - I don't always agree with him, but I don't doubt his integrity for one second.Come on. Does anyone expect MKHBD or iJustine to say anything remotely critical of an Apple product? Otherwise bye-bye early review units.

From MKBHD's video - I think there is an "off" mode that just isn't enabled (presuming the option can be ticked).
I tend to like MKBHD full reviews but iJustine I tend to see as just a commercial for whatever product she gets.Actually MKBHD didn’t know what to compare them to. Everyone else seems to be comparing them to Sony and Bose, both of which are cheaper and have received good reviews. This is like the HomePod all over again. And you’re wrong about that. The HomePod was mostly compared to cheaper smart speakers from Google and Amazon, not high end speakers or theater systems. If Apple marketing was smart they’d be giving reviewers reference points to more expensive headphones so instead of reviewers wondering if they’re worth the premium they’d be saying wow they sound as good (or better) as [insert brand here] and they’re cheaper. Also why the heck is iJustine getting a review unit?!? She’s the last person I’d go to for advice on premium headphones. And neither MKBHD nor Nilay Patel had much good to say about the case so I doubt they will be dishonest when they do a more in-depth review of the sound quality.
I doubt that’s what Apple marketing wants to hear (even if that comment might be a bit hyperbolic).“It is one of the cheaper-feeling things Apple has ever made, in my estimation”.
Here we are..... Now that all the trolls did and will continue to do their thing. Watch these come close or blow away the sound of headphones that cost the same or even many times more.
I switched it off at her defending the lightning port with "Makes sense" 💁♀️iJustine has reached a new level of annoying to me.
Agreed. I too, love my HomePod and did from the start. Some people appreciate quality sound and others don't, and thats fine. Apple is rivaling high end consumer companies like Bose, B&O and other companies that are even niche. What they are doing with sound research is beyond belief.I agree, haters got to hate. shrugs. I am encouraged by the you tubers comments, supports what realistic folks have been saying since the announcement. Though yeah, will still look forward to a more nuanced, dare I say 'informed' evaluation. I strongly believe at the end of the day Apple has hit this one out fo the park from a technical stand point. Whether it is a commercial success, remains to be seen. But that's for stockholders to worry about me, I like my HomePods even though they will never be the commercial success people seem to think is a sign of quality. I am sure I am going to like this headset as well. Yep I got my preorder in.
Why watch her reviews in the first place?iJustine is the most biased apple reviewer on the planet, I take anything she says with a grain of salt.
Really? With an army of lightning cables and lightning to 3.5 adapters out there? It doesn’t make sense to you?I switched it off at her defending the lightning port with "Makes sense" 💁♀️
No it doesn't, iKaren.

iJustine is just painful to watch. Its like she's speaking to tween girls. Which maybe that's who her audience is but I find it beyond grating.
Agree, somehow all reviewers forget about Bang & Olufsen, those are premium NC headphones in $500-700 range, that's where we should compare.Actually MKBHD didn’t know what to compare them to. Everyone else seems to be comparing them to Sony and Bose, both of which are cheaper and have received good reviews.
