AirPods Pro 2 arrived.

Just picked these up from the Apple Store. Sounds fine, same comfort, extra tips.

Didn’t connect to my iPhone SE 3 automatically, had to go through the Bluetooth menu.

Does everything as advertised on the box.

The icon shows up as normal headphones instead of AirPods. Running Ventura Beta though.

Testing now. I feel they sound better, are more comfortable for my ears and a bit punchier.

Thank you! I'm on the fence, but certainly interested... But I'm also not enough of an audiophile to actually be able to notice too many differences!

airpods pro 2 are about 3db more in sound, its very impressive what Apple managed in the same space inside
And also the voice calling sound better in a noisy/windy situations
Even just placing volume on the airpods themselves something that i wanted since first gen its a great upgrade
And adaptive transparency is a next step in the right direction...others will copy this hopefully

ANC is average after using AirPods max, turning on and off hardly does anything lol, would be useless on a plane.

Works fine for me, I was walking down a busy street to grab my coffee this morning, and it managed to reduce traffic noise by about 90% I'd say.

Even comparing them with big chunky airpods max is futile ....thank god we are not comparing here wired high end headphones with very small wireless pods...

Pretty much all reviews are quoting market-leading ANC, on-par with best pairs such as Sony wf-1000xm4 or similar. I saw some reviews even quoting them being competitive even with over-the-ears headphones such as Sony WH-1000XM5 for ANC, which by most reviewers are considered the best ANC not the market (better than AirPods max).

Having said that, YMMV, maybe a bad fit for you, and therefore ANC really "not working" as it should?

sound is good
new volume adjustment is good
magsafe case is good

ANC and the fit is the issue, fit same as v1 when I tried them.
ANC works if you crank the volume great for your hearing.
I don’t need to show proof I have them lol, back in the box ready for pick up now.
$399AUD is a rort.

Are the tips about the same as the previous pros? I wish they were just a touch bigger for my Shrek sized ear canals.

How do they compare to the Beats Fit Pro? I find the ANC significantly better on my BFP compared to my AirPods Pros (1st gen). Perhaps it's the better ear canal seal.

Picked mine up at the Apple Store about an hour ago. Best feature: the XS silicone tips. While the S tips fit quite well when I'm not moving my head a lot and not talking/chewing, the XS tips stay in no matter how hard I try to get them loose.

Exactly, for now, they are the best wireless buds on the market and hard to beat by anyone this year since all the major companies already release their own buds
