Airpods Pro 2 Find My setup

My Airpods Pro 2 don't seem to be working with Find My.

I get this screen:

If you get an alert in the Find My app that your AirPods setup is incomplete - Apple Support (NZ)

You may get this alert if your AirPods fail to pair, or they partially pair (for example, if only the right earbud pairs successfully).

I'm good with steps 1,2,4 and 5. But step 3, I don't use iCloud Keychain and don't want to (I use Enpass).

Does this mean I can't use Find My?
 
Firmware 5A377 has fixed the problem.

It's no longer saying it's not complete. I didn't have to enable Keychain.
 
And, strangely, I just got a correct left behind notification while still showing the error, no location found, and no way to toggle that setting
