What are some opinions on trading in the 1st gen airpod pros for the 2nd gen? I love my air pods pro already, but having volume control and a speaker in the case for finding them is something I’ve always desired. I’ve heard the only devices Apple gives decent trade in value are the phones. I could check myself what I’d get for the AirPods tho. I guess I’m just making sure I use them frequently enough to justify the upgrade. It would make it easier if I got them at least half off with trade in. What do you guys think about the trade in tho (Value vs upgrade)?
I think if you buy from the Apple Store, there is no trade-in value for the AirPods Pro. There might be from other companies though.

I'd like to see how these are reviewed compared to the new QuietComfort Earbuds II from Bose. The noise cancellation is what is important to me with the buds.

Almost feature to feature identical but have no spatial audio so no thank.

With the iPhone 14 Pro, Apple overpromised and underdelivered. I would take the AirPods Pro 2 marketing with a grain of salt. It's probably only 10-15% better than the first generation.
Are you sure it is not 13-17% better? Or 30-31% better? Please share your sophisticated calculations with us, unless of course, it would be too much for our simple minds ...

Beats Pro Fit. Superior fit.

I will go away from the Beats Fit Pro because the right one doesnt't fit in my right ear properly, left is fine. Quite awkward. Touch control is a real plus for me too, I always hoped for it when I had the first gen Pros.

I’m waiting for mine!
I hope the x2 ANC will be a good step up in listening experience 😀

I understand it's subjective but some of it is down to people not being able to manage their own expectations correctly. There is hype with any tech product, doesn't matter which brand, I'm very happy with my iPhone 14 Pro, On Sunday through to Monday I got 34.5 hours on one charge, the 120 Hz screen is a great upgrade from the 12 Pro that I was coming from and I'm a fan of the AOD and Dynamic Island. The camera is a noticeable upgrade, especially video.

Interesting from a UX perspective to see the unboxer missing the bright green direction-of-removal arrows at several points and just fumbling the packaging open. Aside from that, watching my kettle boil is more riveting.

How’s the weight compared to your 12 Pro?

That's what I want, but the case is so massive - hoping a gen 2 comes out at some point. The AirPods are perfect for that 5th pocket on my work pants as I use them for work all the time.
Case isn't perfect, no. But the APP wouldn't seal well or stay in my ears-same with Air Pods. The Beats Pro Fit just work-running, hiking, etc. I never worry about fit or falling out. With the same ANC ability it's perfect fit for me..

All i want to know is the size difference of the case, i carry mine in a silicone case on a belt loop. Can't find any size dimensions... yet
Here you go .....

That’s what I need. My APPs keep falling out, and I use aftermarket tips. I just need that case to shrink, but I’ve got my eye on the beats. What’s the bass like, is it overbearing?
