That’s what I need. My APPs keep falling out, and I use aftermarket tips. I just need that case to shrink, but I’ve got my eye on the beats. What’s the bass like, is it overbearing?

Absolutely not overwhelming. Very well balanced. No sibilance either. Just great sound. I had almost no bass on the APP-sounded really poor.

This is good to know. I think I'll wait it out with my 1st gen APPs and hopefully Beats come out with an updated model in a year or two with some refinements. I was considering the Bose earbuds but they are massive and don't have H1 etc.
