I think it’s produced directly by the nerve so I don’t think it can be canceled out.

Also no I don’t think lossless is possible with Bluetooth unless they release a new version with higher bandwidth.
My understanding is that there is a mode where Bluetooth protocols can be transmitted over Wi-Fi for higher bandwidths. Not sure that would be feasible on AirPods Pro though.

Will be interesting to see what design changes are implemented. Addition of health feature is also possible.

I wish apple would give us an electrostatic driver for the highs, Balanced armature for the mids and a dedicated dynamic driver for the lows! Call them air pod ultras. Take my $349

Why are so many people here speculating about lossless, when the current ones already ship with it?
It's the iPhone that doesn't support it at this point.

The AirPods Pro and AirPods Pro 2 literally stink (to me). For some reason some smell it and some don't. But it's an issue (you can Google it—it's not just me).
I legit just sniffed my airpods (my wife looked at me like I’m nuts), dont smell anything. Maybe you’re sensitive to some chemical in the glue or something most of us dont notice, weird.
I ended up with the Sony WF-1000XM4 (I have to Google the name of them each time because . . . well, it's not memorable). They sound amazing. Noise cancellation is amazing. The foam tips burn my ears a bit. But no smell.
You can get replacement tips, just like with airpods (which, btw, you should check if it’s the tips or the airpods themselves that smell weird to you, different materials)

Also people usually just call those XM4s, not the whole name, if that makes it easier for you

Same here!
Sony really have not got a knack for easily memorable, trip off the tongue names.

I also have the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones and they are just perfect.

My biggest annoyance with the Sonys is the voice that keeps telling me I have switched between devices. Grrrrr! I know I have. FFS!

Edit:
Yes, yes, all the people who get outraged by someone liking another brand, just remember that sound is definitely one of those very personal things that vary from person to person.
I am not an Apple "hater".

Ah, but then what do I call my Sony WF-1000XM4? 🤣

These will be a Day 1 purchase for me. I use my 1st Gen AirPods Pro every day.

Main thing I want is better batttery life, hopefully 7+ hrs (and 35+ for the case).
2nd gen AirPods Pro has much better battery life. I’m guessing that because the ear detection sensor of the 2nd generation doesn’t emit light (invisible to human eye) that it saves battery energy.

My original AirPods Pro are still going strong, so maybe in 2025 when these come out…

As for “body temp monitoring”, if it gives you an instant readout, great. It gotta be better than what AW offers today.

Spatial audio for movies only. I find it really distracting when I'm out on the bike or walking.

I think that could potentially be possible. Tinnitus tends to be a single frequency whine which theoretically could be cancelled out by the AirPods in the same way they remove noise - by inverting the waveform. Though the Pods can't hear the tinnitus whine to cancel it, if there was a dial in an app on your phone you could tune it out yourself.
Fellow tinnitus sufferer here also. There are already some nice apps out there with dials that you can tune to your tinnitus frequency. I've had some luck with them, definitely worth a try. Just Google it and you'll find some.

If they don’t do lossless? To quote a classic Mozart composition… “leck mich im arsch”

I am hopeful of a new noise-canceling that won't give vertigo. I'm among the few that the noise canceling affected my balance, especially when waking up. Once I turned that feature, the symptoms went away. I know it's weird, but I'm not alone.
