I don't believe this for a second. It's pure trash talking. You're telling us that the sound quality is trash, but you haven't done anything about it, such as replace them or find out what is really causing the problem? If what you claim is true, then shouldn't we be seeing innumerable posts about bad sound quality. In fact, the overwhelming comments are that the APP sound quite good.
I don’t know what to tell you. I’ve replaced them 7 times since they released. Apple has also replaced my iPhone (which has been the newest pro iPhone in each of those years) thinking it was related.

I do think it may have something to do with either my phone or Apple account because I go through this every year with my new iPhone. All of these weird bugs no one else has. I’ve tried everything but Apple is just kind of like 🤷‍♂️

Other than that, I do like them. Good sound quality and love the transparency mode.

What exactly do you mean by "get their s**t together. People make these kinds of derogatory statements with nothing to back them up. What does Apple need to specifically do to "take my money"??

They need to release products on a reasonable timeline instead of waiting years to do anything. The AirPods Pro are nearly 3 years old (and don't get me started on the Max), the TV hasn't been updated in 3 years (really 7 years), the Studio Display is 3 years old, the XDR 5 years, the HomePod mini has never been updated, this Home product has been rumored for at least 5 years, HomeKit itself has languished for about as long...the list goes on.

Based on the AirPods Live Translation graphics found in code recently, this either means the AirPods Pro 3 won’t get redesigned, or AirPods Pro 2 will also get the feature

I really only ended up loving my APP2 once I put memory foam tips on them.

I did a lot of testing of various tips and some memory foam tips really increased the ANC amount (a primary reason I even have APP2).

When ANC isn't a priority, I prefer using my AP4 (also have ANC) for the open design.

And for workouts, for me, nothing tops my fleet of AP2s.

The tap gesture is so so critical for me when exercising to quickly change tracks. It's way better than the "pinch the stem" thing on the newer models.

I have this same issue, sporadically - sometimes my colleagues will tell me they can barely hear me on a call with APP and MBP or 15PM; it’s infuriating. Been through it with multiple APP sets over the years as well. I think it’s a software bug as it comes and goes.

It was part of the reason why I went with XM6 instead of APM for my over ear headphones.

Better sound
Better ANC
Better battery life
No price increase to the RRP

Any other „new and improved” features would be nice, but the four issues above are what would push me to buy them. Otherwise I’ll buy some Air Pods Pro 2 at a discounted price.

I understand putting heartbeat and hopefully temperature sensors, as they’re likely to gives more accurate readings, but they’re not a dealbreaker whether they appear or not.

As for „live translation” it will be brilliant if it works, but to me this sounds like a software feature, running through an iPhone, so I don’t see many reasons why it can’t come to APP2 and AP4.

Awesome!
Dont get why so many in here complaints about it. You guys probably are upset about the hearing aid function too.
I love it. My mom is turning 85. She will get AirPods Pro 3. 🤗
More medic stuff in the devices!

I’m not sure if people are complaining about it as a new feature. I think the question is more if hearing aid and other accessibility features are coming from new hardware or new software. If it’s fundamentally a software only upgrade, then it should be equally applicable to other AirPods, including the AP Pro 2.

Is there a brand you would recommend for the memory foam tips?

What’s the point of heart rate sensor if you already own an Apple Watch?
What if you don’t wear an Apple Watch? I couldn’t stand my Apple Watches. They are annoying and lack any character. Prefer an Omega, Rolex or even a Seiko. Hate notifications of Apple Watches hate the battery life. Hate the annoyance. Most of all I hate the look good for working out and sometimes sleeping, but since falling for mechanical watches and how amazing they are, makes Apple Watch seem cheap. I would like an Apple Ring.

I think Apple needs to give people options. Another thing, I think it would be amazing if they could have made the original Apple Watch or those sense as a case and strap that last forever so can buy gold or stainless or titanium/whatever. Then annually update the insert that goes in with the technology from the back to replace all sensors and internal tech with batttery in one. I still don’t want the distractions, but that’s the way Apple Watch could be a much better accessory instead of the current three years then throw away design.

To give people options? To not use it? Really? Maybe Apple should also add a modem to every product just to give options, whatever the cost!
At this point, I’d rather have an SpO₂ or temperature sensor — since they’re not on every Apple Watch — even a GPS chip would make more sense.

It sounds like you want items to be replaced simply for the sake of replacing them.

My AirPods Pro 2 are great. I have no issues with them. If they never get an update, I'm fine. Just what is so compellingly bad about yours that you require an update?

My 3 Apple TVs (one each of the last three generations) all work fine. There is nothing critical that needs to be updated.

My Studio Display looks great. I have no compelling reason to update.

My XDR also looks great. I'm perfectly happy with the way it is.

Of course I understand that there will be some improvements. But by and large there is no major changes that would compel me to want to upgrade any of them.

it does like a you problem. Sorry to tell you. This is not a normal experience by any means.

AirPods 2 are great, but at 3 years old there are a ton of people—myself included—who need new ones (bc of battery life) but aren't gonna buy them when there's an update due (and has been for 6-12 months).

I use a first-gen TV 4K every day and it is visibly slow, plus it doesn't support any of the (already sparse) updates from tvOS 26 or tvOS 18. It doesn't even get Liquid Glass! Plus there have been a ton of upgrades rumored, and there are about a dozen things Apple could/should do if they were remotely interested in the product.

The Studio Display is fine but it uses a decade-old panel, still has a crappy camera, 60Hz, no miniLED...this is the product most in need of an update, imo, and isn't close to worth $1,500+ in 2025. Plus, I want a monitor and I'm not buying one at this point.

The XDR is laughably overpriced and out of date.

I think the wearable health monitors are great and something like this which you're already wearing is the perfect approach. I cant do the watch. Too much on my wrist that my phone already does. Something like this I dont even think about when Im listening to music making sure Im not about to have a heart attack? Yes please. The battery life will be comparable to what we have now.
