Apple just launched the AirPods Pro 3, and today Amazon introduced the first discount on the earbuds at $10 off their original price. You can get the AirPods Pro 3 for $239.00 on Amazon, down from $249.00.

Although not a particularly large discount, considering the earbuds just launched this week it's a noteworthy sale for anyone looking to purchase the brand new model. Free delivery options are estimated for September 25, while Prime members should see delivery windows around September 21 in many cases.

We’re so close to the holiday season, there’s really no compelling reason not to wait unless you’re in need of them right now.

I thought the same about the s11 Apple Watch I just ordered. But trade-in was highest at Apple for my s9 (at retailers at least) and I got the band I preferred. I went with the 11 because I’ve been wanting a smaller watch: going from 45mm to 42mm.

If I buy AirPods from Amazon, will I definitely get genuine AirPods?
In the US, as long as you buy it from the official Apple Store page at Amazon, yes, they will definitely be genuine.

You can tell by:
- In the Buy Box on the right, it'll say "Sold by Amazon.com" and "Ships from Amazon.com"
- Under the Main product description at the top of the page, right below it, it should say something like, "Visit the Apple Store"

There are some games that can be played by 3rd party sellers on Amazon where they "take" the Buy Box (unlikely for such popular gear as Apple), but you can always double-check in the Buy Box.

I'm sure the Apple Watch Series 11 will get discounted here soon. I'm just waiting to see how big the discounts will be between 10 and 11. Considering that most of the 11 features were software-related, and Series 10 being nearly identical. Still rocking the series 5, so either one is going to feel like an upgrade.

Unfortunately, there's been many reports where Amazon mixes their own inventory with other sellers' inventory that are fulfilled by Amazon. It's some intentional system to ship items from distribution centers closest to the customer. It's supposedly opt-in/opt-out by sellers but who knows. Plus employees can mistakenly grab things from the wrong bin as well. Maybe things could have changed recently but I'm going to be skeptical.

This has been the reason people have gotten counterfeit items even when they chose items that were indicated as sold and shipped by Amazon. Amazon is also known to ship returned items as "new" despite clearly being used (scuffs or flat out damaged) and/or have missing parts.

Nowadays, if I can price match at Best Buy or some other retailer who isn't known to mix inventory or doesn't have a 3rd-party market, I buy from them instead of Amazon.

I got my AirPods Pro 3 yesterday and am very happy with them. I find them more comfortable than my AirPods Pro 2 and somewhat better sounding.

If anyone is a Costco member, you can currently get the AirPods Pro for list price ($249) including free AppleCare (a $20 value if you want AppleCare).

Target is slightly cheaper with the red card discount and easier to return so I'm gonna try them from there.

How are they able to give discounts? Is it because they purchase in bulk from Apple? What's the maximum discount they can get per item? Any idea, anyone?
Sure, they sell at cost… because running a business for zero profit is super sustainable lol 😂
That’s cute, you should seriously look into how margins and retail pricing work.

They are so uncomfortable. Sent them back and keep my AirPods Pro 2‘s.
Do they not offer differ tips? Smaller this time?
I have new 2s (spring birthday gift) so not going update anytime soon but curious why they would be more uncomfortable.

There's an extra tip now, 5, up from 4 previously. I think original Pros only came with 3 tip sizes.
