I got my pair from Costco and came with apple care for two years. If prices go down significantly, I’m going to price match and plan on getting some gas money back lol

In previous airpods and airpods pros, the while plastic casing slides in my ear, which is something very unique and confortable.
Airpods pro3 unfortunately is like earpods from other brands - only the sillicon numb is inserted and it relys on the sillicon nub to stay in my ear. Very unconfortable

This would be more tempting if I didnt know they’ll likely be at $180 by Nov or Dec

I always get them directly from Apple. I consider the extra as cheap "insurance" -- I get the free custom engraving on the case. I put my phone number on the case itself. I know, I know, "find my". But this is one extra safety step. And gives an honorable person a way to reach out to me if they find them. (I do the same with Apple Pencils. The little things that could be easily lost.)

I’m getting my AirPods Pro 3 tomorrow, but I’m not sure if I should buy a case for them.
I LOVE the ESR for Airpods Pro cases and have them for both my series 1 and 2. I was having a problem of the airpods falling out of the case when I dropped them (as I did once when deboarding a plane in Bangkok and ended up loosing one bud). Amazon has the ESR case for the 3's for sale now. $14-16 bucks depending on color.

Sam's Club was selling them at my store the day they came out for $239. I had a pre-order from Amazon that was expecting to receive on Friday and then when I checked it showed the date was this Wed, so I cancelled and checked Sam's and they had 19 in stock and also was surprised to see a discount.

Those who say they are uncomfortable must be trolls. They are the most comfortable EarPods I ever had.
You do realize that our ears are not shaped the same, right? I returned mine because I couldn’t get the left ear bud to stay securely in my ear no matter which tips I used.
