Was quite surprised to see, despite 8-hour battery life, the total life per charge dropped from 30-24. That means the cases are only charging the AirPods 2x instead of 4x.

AirPods 2: 6 hours, 30 total
AirPods 3: 8 hours, 24 total

On or around black friday APP3 will probably be on sale for $200. No need to buy early.

Love them. They fit right out of the box. Nice seal. I have the feature turned on that reduces noise cancellation if you talk with someone. I need to turn it off because I like to sing with the music I listen to. Not sure others like to hear me sing, but I don't care!

I always recommend getting Airpods at Costco.

They come with AppleCare+ and even when that runs out, Costco will have you covered if something happens.
Good call.

Another good way to buy them is to wait for Cyber Monday. Target sells Target gift cards for 10% off. Get a $250 gift card, wait for the AirPods to go on sale, then use that gift card to buy the AirPods.

Got them for $199 target deal. For the first time ever, I don’t think I’ll need to buy after market foam tips.

They fit perfectly with the foam infused tips.

The only issue is that taking the tips off is very hard and I think I almost damaged the one it came with (not my size). Either that or I’m doing something wrong. They have to be pulled out with some force and I’m pretty sure the silicone will tear eventually when doing that.

Other than that the noise cancellation is incredible and noticeably better than APP 2. The audio quality is similar but the mid and highs sound a bit more nuanced.

If I buy AirPods from Amazon, will I definitely get genuine AirPods?
So long as the store you buy from says Apple at the top left and shipped/sold by Amazon I think you would.

Tried them and could not get them to feel comfortable at all. But that just me.
I don’t find the particular comfy either, anc does not seem to be improved either. Still keeping them, nice to have backup AirPods.

I bought them and immediately got on an 8 hour flight. I found the ANC better than my 2s. The 3s initially felt different, but eventually i forgot i had them in just like my 2s. I read the 3s tips have some foam in them and i wonder if it takes some wear to mold it to the ear.

Small discount but good for a brand new product. Expecting to see higher discounts around Black Friday.

Wait a few weeks. They'll be on sale during on Prime Days, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

TY! Just curious, is that part of the new AppleCare pricing subscription model introduced early this year (boooo!) or the old one-time purchase model?

I’m getting my AirPods Pro 3 tomorrow, but I’m not sure if I should buy a case for them. I used my Pro 2 for almost 2.5 years without a case, and the glossy finish got a bit scratched up. On one hand, AirPods aren’t like a MacBook, so it doesn’t bother me that much, but I’d still like to keep them in better condition. I’m thinking about getting the PITAKA Aramid Fiber Case, but it’s not available for the Pro 3 yet. For those who have used AirPods with a case — how do they look after a year of use? One thing that bothers me is that on all cases the metal hinge of the AirPods case is left exposed

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING TIPS.

You want to hold it firmly at the base touching the plastic almost, and do one quick swift pull like you’re removing a cork from a bottle with your fingers. Do NOT twist or yank at that silicone tip, you’ll tear it.

It is a horrible design making it unnecessarily damage prone.
