Temperature and Heart Rate sensors, new case, improved ANC and sound.

Live translation with Apple Intelligence is planned but won't be coming at launch, made available in a later update.

Releasing in two weeks at the event.

I hope they offer ones that just improve the ANC and Sound.

I can think of zero use case for the added expense (and I'm sure weight) of Temp & HR sensors ... in my earbuds.

(Particularly for me, as I run/hike with open design buds -- AP2/AP4 -- for situational awareness)

No disrespect intended but you have 15 posts and somehow know more that the 'experts' out there. Most rumors say they will be ANNOUNCED at the event. Almost no one is saying immediate release. That being said, I hope you're right but so far your the only one saying its immediate release.

Miscommunication, they will be announced, not released. Should be available shortly after and in most stores within a few weeks. They have been in production for several months, so there are many thousands of units ready to go already.
 
Already have it on mine

First was weird how the setting or option kept changing by itself. Until I figured out why!
 
I’ve been surviving without functional ANC on my AirPods Pro 1st gen for over a year, the updated model will be an immediate buy for me. Really hope they are released this coming week.

Yup, very underwhelming. I pre-ordered for the ability to use them in Italy next month......may cancel now.

What happened to your ANC?
 
I also pre-ordered, after now comparing the AirPods Pro 3 with the predecessor, it seems to me that they have not really improved, so an update is worth it? Live streaming is also possible with AirPods Pro 2 and requires a reasonably current iPhone anyway. When you compare the technical specifications of both headphones, it is not obvious that the noise reduction should be better. Apart from the leaflets in today's performance. Difficult, I will wait a few days to see if my acceptance is confirmed, and cancel if necessary.
 
I'm super happy that Live Translation will be supported for older models. Well done (and thank you) Apple!

Not improved, the Pro 3's have better ANC (up to 2X compared to the Pro 2's), sound is also improved and heart rate censors have been added for work outs.

Technical data? they have clearly said that the ANC is better, it's all over the AirPods 3 section of the website. They also mention better sound, increased battery life and the heart rate tracking. At the same price as the Pro 2's it's a great buy. Pre-ordered mine.

Improvements I like are more battery life and hopefully the new mics on the end! of the stem will make these phone call-useable. My AP2 are not useable for phone calls! Don't care at all for the other software features which add to complexity, maybe cost, and may use more battery..
