I just wish there was an option to force the airpods to update (on non beta) instead of having to wait and try 5 different things to get them to update.

I don’t
YES. I completely forgot about this.
Helps for walking gate (great for those in traction for re-learning how to walk),
balance (for above or for those that have fallen). useful to detect head trauma or lack of head impact if fallen. Must be thousands of elderly that fall and hit their noggin or mores less that do. Those that have - data would be helpful for doctors, if shared.

I still want for DuoLingo to finally support BT headphones as microphone source already. Smule finally did it!
I don’t dispute those helpful potential use cases you cite but I can’t imagine the population of elderly APP wearers, who are wearing them when such events come to pass is very large

It’s more likely a chimera population.

would be nice to know what didn’t and what did finally work?

if your list only has 4 things I won’t be disappointed.

Still has not updated for me. Only been a little over 12 hours though. I know when I’ve updated firmware before on these, had case on charger. No mention of that in instructions, guess I just wait…

Same here. My only confusion is the wording that they need to be connected to the iPhone - and - hinge (box) must be closed. But, as soon as the box is closed they disconnect …
Previous updates just started by itself … but had to be charged …

"It requires an ‌AirPods Pro‌ configuration profile to be installed on an ‌iPhone‌, ‌AirPods Pro‌ to be connected to the ‌iPhone‌, the ‌iPhone‌ to be connected to a Mac running the Xcode 13 beta, ‌iPhone‌ Prerelease Beta Firmware settings to be turned on, ‌AirPods Pro‌ automatic beta software updates to be turned on, and then an on-screen process to be followed."

Then put your right foot in and shake it all around...
What happens if for some odd reason it won’t connect to your phone anymore
