I haven't tried them yet, but I bet they're like the originals - - after a while you learn to press on the particular pressure point that easily twist/lifts them out of the case.

no they’re different than the originals. The curve is such there’s no place to ‘dig under’ to pop them out. They’re just a tad too deeply settled into the case.

I still hope for a muscle memory technique to emerge over the coming weeks.

They’re hard to get out of the case. There’s nothing to grip onto.

Try this tip I read in another thread. Put your finger just at the back towards the top and pull toward you and it comes right out.

The above is the way to do it... once you do it a single time it is so easy you will be stunned asking yourself how in the world you didn't figure it out earlier... WAY easier than AirPods 1 & 2.

one single finger BEHIND the AirPod and pull it toward the front of the case, do not pull it up and do not use two hands or two fingers. MAGIC.

I'm still using the corded ones that came with my iPhone X, but I might give the AirPods Pro a try because of the more customizable fit and the noise canceling. I've never owned noise canceling headphones (only tried some of the over-the-ear cans that have it). I walk to and from work (about 30 minutes each way) and I listen to music or podcasts/news while I walk. Sometimes I talk on the phone. Noise isn't usually a problem unless I'm at the office and trying to get some work done while tuning out the chatter. Sometimes traffic noise is an issue, and more frequently falling rain can be. It would be nice if the noise canceling could help, and it might be a better solution than cranking up the volume.

Since I use the corded headphones that came with my iPhone, my standards are not high. I do get tired of dealing with the cord though... it has caused my earbuds or my iPhone to hit the ground after something snags the cord.

Good tip here about tipping the pods towards you in the case to get them out, they are hard to grab otherwise unlike previous gen. (tip overload!).

unnecessary... just put a single index finger tip behind the AirPod and push the back of the AirPod toward the front of the case... there is no need to use two fingers, tip the case or anything... its so easy it will blow your mind.
