AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule Out of Stock at U.S. Apple Stores [Updated]

I'm tempted by something newer but my AirPort Extreme Time Capsule is still going strong.

I'm tempted by something newer but my AirPort Extreme Time Capsule is still going strong.

Our wifi was giving us fits a while back, but my backups are still good, so I bought an Airport Extreme and keep the older circa 2009 Time Capsule plugged in as the backup disk (with the wifi turned off).

The Time Capsule was abandoned and the team disbanded a couple years ago when it was decided that da cloud is where everyone wanted their data instead.
