Same here. I get about 10 feet of range when using Leopard and the 655. No matter what settings I use, its completely futile. Hopefully Apple and Dlink will get this taken care of.

There is a beta firmware v1.11 available for the DIR-655... I've only tested briefly, but so far I am getting much better wireless connections with my MBP SR.

I use the DIR-825 and had a DIR-655. The DIR-655 was great for what I used it for. I mainly need wireless in fairly small area and wired LAN transfer speed and torrenting speed (max # of connections) was the most important factor and the DIR-655 was the best bang for the buck in those areas. I switched to a DIR-825 as I had a lot of wireless mice and the router on 2.4Ghz would cause conflicts. Nothing to do with the router itself as any router would have the same issue. 5Ghz solves it though at the expense of range which I do not particularly need.

My friend has this router in my house at college and I am having some troubles with it. My computer will connect to the internet but after a certain amount of time, nothing will load. I have to do a full restart to fix this problem and it requires me to restart my computer several times a day.

I have bootcamp and when in Windows I have no issues like this. Also, when I am at home with my Apple router I do not drop connections. So I think it must be the router. I am on the latest version of OS X.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Got the new Apple Extreme but haven't connected it yet...supposed to be solid from what I read will let you know once I get it hooked up.
