Amazing that they couldn’t get this to market. I’m not a big fan of wireless charging I feel like it’s the biggest reason for my device batteries degrading. On my iPhone 15 I’m purely using a cable for charging and it’s still 100%.

I can't remember the last time I've plugged in my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I charge it on a Qi mat at night and on a MagSafe stand for most of the day at my desk. It's almost 4 years old and 76% battery health. Your iPhone 15 is like 7 months old.

Apple could not do a wireless charger, whomever in management though they could do a car is really in la-la land.

With the specs Apple was shooting for no one could.

That’s a lot. Ouch. My 13 PM is at 89% and I have used MagSafe, but not all the time. Moreover, I rarely charge beyond 80%.

That's impressively bad. My XS Max is at 85%, and I don't do anything at all to keep it from degrading because batteries are fairly easy to change, I can do it in less than 10 minutes. Sure, not as easy as it should be, I should be able to change a battery in a couple seconds like I could with my old Motorola flip phones, but not hard enough that I'll be gentle with it.

I always charge to 100%, charge on the dash in direct sun in my car, I've even been using wireless charging lately because I'm lazy. I stuck a magnetic case on it, so I can just touch it to the car mount and it grabs & charges.
