AirTag Orders Moving to 'Shipped' Status for More Customers

Was ordering one yesterday and got to the checkout and realized, I have no reason to buy one. I don't lose my keys or other items generally. I just couldn't think of a reason to buy it, despite feeling like I wanted one.
I got one tag and one key ring for fun in order to try it out. I don't loose items either.

I can see ordering one like you did just to check it out. But I’m trying to understand how so many people seem to lose their stuff! I have a decent size home, we have multiple cars, travel, work, etc. Also have that POS AppleTV remote. We don’t lose anything. I mean, it may take 10 seconds more than usual at random times to locate the scissors ✂️ or something, but that’s about it. How are people losing their stuff so much?
yeah, I too wonder how people are losing things as well. I plan to stick it in my room and go to the kitchen to see how well it works with my iPhone X as I don't have the iPhone 11 or 12 with the U1 chip, and Precision Finding.
Apple could release a card version of the AirTag brand to fit in a wallet or just put your wallet in the same place each time like on your dresser for example.
I have 2 or 3 places i'm SUPPOSED To remember to put it... But I'm having overall memory problems that affects that too. (kind of scary honestly)
Ah, you could consider choosing one place to put it rather then two or three places. Yes I too sometimes misplace things but not all that often.
its more a problem in forgetting where that is. I've got some medical issues that are impacting my memory outright. to the point I even am forgetting my "wallet" spot.
My wallet was there last week. I still spent 2 hours looking for it.
I've got onset symptoms of CTE. this sort of "emptiness" in place of memory is only going to get worse.
mine was a range of 5/7 - 11 or so; UPS created a mychoice for it last night saying for delivery tomorrow. my guess is UPS is likely to be more accurate at this time and apple's system will update sometime later.
if you havent set it up yet, try getting a ups mychoice account, they're free and when UPS orders are created for your address, they'll automatically populate. there are other non free things you can do, but this is a way to see things like apple orders. they'll generate tracking info before they leave china
...mundane? if you're going to make fun of people excited about apple products in an apple forum, the least you could do is spell properly.
not to mention, mundane is poor word choice here.

Ah, sorry to hear this and hope your memory doesn't get worse. Getting the AirTag or Tile Slim could be worth looking into as the slim can fit into a wallet but I like the AirTag better somehow.
UPS website says the label was created and shipped yesterday. I doubt it will be delivered tomorrow from China as the package is shipped via UPS Worldwide express saver or World ease.
