Excellent CS with Airybody. So even though they shipped the wrong one, they're shipping me another at no cost. Here are some pics of the iPhone 6. Well made IMO and very lightweight.

Well I ordered the aero version but the pictured is the classic, at least that's what it said on the package.
No I didn't have to send it back. They were nice enough to let me keep it.
Sorry but it is taken.
Your pictures bumper is the Aero version, I have the classic and it looks different.
Hey guys/gals,
I have retract my review on the loss on reception. While I have installed my bumper at home last night, I was also testing the signal strength and only experience 1 point drop. This so happens that there is a cell site around the corner of my house so there is always full bar, I didn't think much of it.
However this is not the case today while at work. My phone pretty much stay on 3G the who time where I usually have LTE. Lucky I brought the small screw driver that came with the case, I began my testing at work.
Turn out that signal lost is huge, I went from an average -114 to a -89. I have e-mailed Airybody for a full refund, this case is going back and I'm extremely sorry for my previous review.
Hi,
I have received my Airybody just now and tested my signal strength.
Without bumper it was at -104db in a 3g network, after installing the Airybody it went down to 113db.
Quite significant. But my data speed hasn't been altered that much, still around 3.4 mbit here in my place.
The bumper is nicely made, with a few little flaws, the included switch for the mute switch wasn't working, or i couldn't install it properly and it is dangerous to scratch your phone while you install it.
I have a bestskinever on my phone, which includes the sides, so it doesn't get scratched, but to install the bumper i had to remove some of the inner lining as the bottom part would not be aligned properly and you could feel a maybe 0.3 mm step between the bottom part and the top part of the bumper.
on the screen side on the sides there is quite a bit of space, it looks like there can be a lot of dirt be trapped in there. But i guess it is made to have enough space for glass cover which includes the sides, my tempered glass screen is unfortunately not covering the rounded edges, so i will need to change to something like a Moshi Ivisor glass.
Overall the quality is good, but with the signal loss i am not very happy.
I bought this one as a minimalistic protection against bending, and for this it seems quite appropriate.
It is very sturdy and now i do not fear any bending anymore.
Lets see if i can live with the signal loss or not. Time will tell
hope this helps a bit
I contacted Sonny at Airybody. He responded immediately about any signal loss. Here is his explanation.
"Signal loss is really complicated. It depends on your signal strength and signal direction.
Normally when you have good reception, signal effect by an aluminum bumper will be minimal.
In the other hand, if your already have bad reception signal loss will be more noticeable.
Airybody aluminum bumpers does effect the signal a little, but not much.
We tested with iPhone 6, the result was averaged about 3-5 percent signal drop on both wifi and LTE.
What's interesting was when we flip the phone around or turn the phone in different direction, the signal strength recovers.
It seems like the bumper altered the direction of signal, not blocking it."
He seems very reasonable.
indeed, after reading this i turned my phone around and the signal loss was gone/diminished.
So, when in an area with weak signal turning the back side up helps with the loss.
Not always practical, but i can live with that for the time being.
I have also been in contact with Sonny from Airybody, he offered immediately a full refund if i send it back. So, CS is good.
I will keep it,as it is exactly what i was looking for, just need to replace the glass protector and hope the small screws will hold....
Sad to hear complaints not he signal loss.AT least he's working with his customers which is nice. Just the nature of aluminum bumpers though, could be worse.
Hey guys, so I'e been watching this forum for a while and finally joined.
Received my AiryBody raw aluminum bumper regular 6 a while ago but was never installed since I swapped my 6 for a 6+. It's the aerobody one I think, it's like as pictured as above. I can get more pics tonight. Anyone want it, pm me...
I'm interested but can't pm you though. Do you have an email?
Can someone measure the full width and depth of your iPhone with the Classic bumper on? I want to make sure it will fit in my ProClip holder in my vehicle. The max depth is 10mm = 25/64" = 0.39". The max width is 77mm = 3 1/32".
Thank you!
