Orange as in the same orange as the action button on the Ultra - that'll be nice!
We already had a purple Pro Max; that was during the 14 series.I just want a REAL blue or purple Pro Max. Not this watered down BS. We get 1% purple (or blue) and 99% white or silver.
Oh, I know what it means. Your point that it sounds pretentious is about how I feel towards it. It's kind of like when the term "synergy" was being thrown around in every other middle management meeting I had to attend several years back. Someone hears it and wants to sound important so they have to squeeze it in every chance they get.It means a specific combination of colors and while the term isn't an Apple creation it is about as pretentious sounding as a flavor profile in foods.
Agreed x1000! Why they don’t bring back the midnight green color of the iPhone Pro 11 is beyond me. It was the best color they’ve ever done on a pro device. Please bring back the green.

It will be darker and more metallic for sure.No one outside of Apple knows what the actual copper color will be. It might be that or it might be more metallic.
As long as it’s not another gold colour 🙄It will be darker and more metallic for sure.
I'm glad we're back to calling them "colors" rather than "colorways".
Depends on whether the whites and blacks will be the same. The source already states that the light blues are different, and that the Air white will be colder than the regular white. At least the regular black is usually also different from the Pro black.Am I the only one that cares that the data in the article doesn't match the headline claim that there are 15 colors?
Unlikely. They never called a color Starlight when there was also a white/silver.

Apple does refer to it as “colour” in Europe (really just in the UK, I think, since Apple doesn’t seem to offer their EU sites in English). The EU might fine Apple because Apple didn't refer to it as "colour".
Ah, I stand corrected.![]()

Literally the MacBook Air currently has both in the lineup 🤷🏻♂️
but the iPhone 12 blue was my all time favorite color on a phone.
I am not sure how long you have been following Apple but there is a 0.000000000001% chance that Apple is listening to a "vocal minority" when it comes to color selection. Apple is a TRILLION dollar company and have one of the most, if not THE most valuable brand on the planet. They make choices in the direction they think best suites the brand using millions of data points and teams of design, marketing, medical staff, and psychologists weighing in. They may make a wrong choice, but it certainly isn't because of a vocal minority.A very vocal minority has been demanding more colors for the iPhone Pro models. It kind of reminds me of a grandma complaining that a young man’s pants are too wrinkled because they’re not ironed flat like in the 1950s. Sure, let’s listen to them and bring candy colors to the iPhone Pro lineup. A foldable iPhone, Apple Intelligence that will never be finished, iOS 26, and now this.
I am sure I am in the minority, but I don't put a case on my phones. So I would constantly see it. I also have a lot of friends who have a range of cases that go from showing a good chunk of the phone due to their design or shows the entire thing because they are clear.I'm not even sure why we care about colors at all? From the front you don't see it, if you have a case you don't see it. So who is looking at the back of their naked phone?
LOL, you actually had me nodding my head for a moment but then I was like "wait, I just ordered an Air for my sister and we debated between the two colors"Ah, I stand corrected.
We don’t know yet if it will have that hideous square. But I do agree it looks too busy. What good are the colors if they have that hideous square on the back
