Sure, if you want to be my daddy.

Be a man, face the problem, and DO something (if you still can)

WTF is "Fighting for the equal representation of 17" notebooks"?

Everyone hates on 17" notebooks for not being portable, but in reality they are just as portable, everyone who hates on them is just a frilly pants wear pop tart.

...I'm surprised they still sell MBA's that far into the future:eek:

Can you imagine how small they're going to be then? It will be like two pieces of paper taped together on end.

Probably you have bigger pans than Picasso (congrats, you are the man)

Yes' to say all MBA 13 have screen problem is a bit strong.

Have you've seen all 13 MBA screens in the world, Highly doubtful.

My MBA 13 has no such issues.

Perhaps it's a very unwise way to try and get everything (iPhones and screens and what not) AS THIN AS POSSIBLE, or in fact really: IMPOSSIBLE and still having a good quality! What is the point, really? It IS a point of having a thin device, but somewhere along the way, it no longer makes any practical sense to make it even thinner, and it seems it has been a kind of obsession for the designers to make things thinner and thinner.

And especially, if there turns out to be such a price to pay as a bleeding or leaking screen, I would much more have a screen 2-3 mm "thicker" than have such a problem or any other problem that comes with this thinness madness.

But I am afraid I am talking to deaf ears...

I chose the MBPro 13" last weekend instead of the MBAir 13" because I wanted the FaceTime "HD" cam. You are right on the money, :apple: should have had a HD cam in the 13" Air this time around. If you gotta pay more for a thinner 13", it should at least have the most current technology in it. Heck, the MBAir 13" has higher screen resolution than the MBPro 13"! I can't see why they couldn't have done an HD cam in the MBAir too!

I believe the HD lens has been discussed in the MBA forum. And as I remember the HD lens is too large to fit in the frame of the MBA screen, so that is the reason why.

Given that this thread turned into a bickering and feuding its time to close it
