My iPhone 6 was great, the 11 was a bit too much detail and now the 15 Pro is WAY too much detail 😅

I have tape over my 2010 MBP but I wont do that to my M3Pro MBP. I actually heard it can damage the screen due to tight close tolerances.

I think how thick the tape is would matter. I use thin masking tape and the piece is tiny.

I don't see why not. Put a small piece on the area and bring the lid down into a closed position and examine the gap you're dealign with left and right of the area along the body. I'm sure a tiny gap will be fine and long as you don't have the computer smashed between other objects too forcefully in your backpack, for example.

Every time I hear "Slim" I think of paying more for less features. We need an "iPhone Phat" with a 12x zoom, built in Airpod holder, SD card reader, and a battery big enough to charge other people's phones.

Rather than the 24mp for its own sake I’m hoping that all the cameras on the 17 do that multi sampling the 15 Pro’s main camera does where it takes one half-res shot focused on colour & light data and the second high-res shot that is focused on detail and merges the two at an intermediary resolution,

Hope they get rid of the fragile back glass and it is aluminum unibody without magsafe only magnets for attachment. A high grade glass lens would be nice.
