Huge, longtime fan of Snatch and Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels. Truly great movies with a nice mix of black humor, action, violence...I think they fill a niche between truly great movies that I would put on an "All Time Best Movies" list and something a little more popcorn. I don't think that they're movies for the ages, but I could watch them almost every day and still be entertained.

Wind
The Dark Knight
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
Toy Story 1 and 2.

All I can think of right now

Band of Brothers
Apocalyse Now
Full Metal Jacket
Blade Runner
Smokin Aces
All The Dirty Harry's
The Eiger Sanction
Where Eagles Dare
Seven
Schindlers List
Saving Private Ryan
Aliens
Friday the 13th's 1-3
Exorcist
Patton
Escape from New York
Bullit
The French Connection
Heat
Scarface
Casino
Beerfest
The Godfathers
Braveheart
Payback (Mel Gibson one)
Oceans Eleven
Ronin
All the Indiana Jones flicks

I could keep going.....love action and horror.

Oops! Forgot The Departed and The Shining

Some great movies have been listed here and others that I have never seen.

Some of my own favourites are Lone Star (super movie by John Sayles), Jesus of Montreal (incredible French Canadian movie), Au Revoir Les Enfants (set in war time France in a Jesuit board school, gripping), My Life As A Dog, (bittersweet stunning coming of age Swedish movie), Citizen Kane (brilliant), The Leopard (starring Burt Lancaster, rivetting, directed by Visconti and based on Lampedusa's book) as well as standard favourites such as first two Godfather movies, Pulp Fiction, Amalie, Shawshank Redemption, Unforgiven, Monty Python's Life of Brian and The Holy Grail.

Cheers

I wouldnt be able to chose between these;

Blade Runner
Alien
My Fair Lady
The Empire Strikes Back
Silent Running

too many to list in second place.

So many choices in this life. A few...

Braveheart
Unforgiven
Pan's Labyrinth
Papillon

My true all time favorite film:

The Silence of the Lambs

But, I like tons of films. Cross of Iron was awesome, so was the R Crumb documentary, and millions of other films I've seen. Hard to choose just a few.
