When I saw this thread title and began reading the first few posts it made me really want to watch a good movie!

Last year I watched a lot of movies, and I got kind of sick of them, so in the more recent months I haven't been watching nearly as many. But now I feel ready to plunge into a netflix queue of great films again!

My all time favorites are:

Amadeus
Downfall
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
The Fellowship of the Ring
Babel
Schindler's List
La Vie En Rose
City Lights
Modern Times
The Circus

Some of my favorites:

Night on Earth
Life is Beautiful
Mulholland Dr.
Citizen Kane
Picnic at Hanging Rock

Not my favorites, but very memorable:

Blair Witch Project (comes to mind when hiking in the woods)
Barton Fink (the fire scene)

Some of my favorites:

Back to the Future
Back to the Future Part II
Back to the Future Part III
Cars
Wall-E
Up

Gonna have to think about this one a bit more but tip of my tongue:

Blade Runner (already mentioned earlier in thread)

Captain Ron (just fun)

Bourne series

Italian Job (like the original and the new version....funny didn't think anything would compare with the original but really liked the new version so guess it's both)

"I'll be back"....with more;)

I love actions movies especially those with shiny, convertible, multi-loaded, newly-released or never-released cars. They include James Bond and the Fast and the Furious :D

I just saw Up. This one is reaaaaal close to replacing Finding Nemo on my fav 3 list.

Someone else said something like this before and I'll echo the same sentiment. Every trailer I see for a new Pixar film, I think to myself that this the one that will be Pixar's first big disappointment. And then I go see the movie and I think it's the best thing ever.

So you sat watching Casino Royal and during the car chase went "Hang on - that's the Alpine Course at Millbrook!" as well then :)

Some great movies listed here...

I might add:

1. F is for Fake (Orson Welles)
2. Babe 2 - Pig in the City (you may be tempted to snicker, but just watch it...)
3. Princess Bride (Classic and infinitely watchable)
4. Lovers in the Arctic Circle
5. Touch of Evil

Forrest Gump

School of Rock
White Chicks

There are many more movies which I love, but they're the ones I could watch over and over.
