I've been clicking / hard clicking on my MBr's Force Touch touchpad at least for every hour since I've bought it. Still can't feel the difference compared with a 'real', physical switch touchpad.
So the technology for a Force Touch home button is there. While its benefits might look minimal at first, it might save some valuable space inside or help the quest for having a more water-friendly phone.
After all those firmware upgrades pretending to have better water proofing (sic), a hardware solution might give better mileage.
somehow the top looks ugly, why won't they simply make one wide black horizontal aperture and hide cam and proximity sensor in it along with the speaker?
apple too isn't any better at it, that damn proximity sensor, seriously...This is what i'm always wondering when i see different white colored phones. So obvious solution, yet all companies act like they're completely retarded when it comes to aesthetics and design of a phone.
...and touch technology today is basically the same as that of 2003.Anyone remember the touch sensitive buttons on the iPod 3g? Those were horrible. Hope it doesn't happen.
The circle thickness in those two different images are completely different. Are they supposed to be of the same handset?
... And on top of this - why is this picture blurry? Who takes such blurry pictures? No one - exactly. Super fake if you ask me.
I was of the understanding that the metal ring around the current iPhone button was a requirement for the touch ID magic to work. Can anyone tell if the 'circle' in this photograph is perhaps a flush metal ring or is it just a graphic to show where to touch? If it's not a flush metal ring, then my guess is that this is not a 'real' iPhone. Unless they have found another way around using the metal ring somehow...
I don't think the "touch sensitive" middle step for the home button is necessary / a real step forward. The home button needs to go for good, freeing the bezel space for more screen size at the same form factor or same screen size at a smaller one. Hopefully this will be possible soon. (Integrating Touch ID into the display and/or use 3D Touch for navigating back to the home screen.)
It's an Android phone.
This one has a real button not like the one shown here.
Umm.... those phones don't look remotely similar to me- do they to you???
Maybe not exact, but they're pretty similar no? Lol really "don't look remotely similar" ???
I'd say there's a much better chance that this is some knock off, fake, or an android phone of some sort than it being a new iPhone.
