I was about to create a thread about this and the forum software asked me if this was already being discussed.

I guess I'm not the only one who wishes there were an Always Allow option!

This new feature is getting on my bloody nerves now, copying a link and before I paste it into safari that message pops up every time. Trying to copy and paste anything now is a sodding pain as I have to tap allow potentially dozens of times a day.

Who the hell at Apple thought this would be a great idea.

At least make it optional that I can turn off.

I'm also using the SwiftKey keyboard and its a constant annoyance. It's extremely user unfriendly. I mean if I'm personally interacting with the UI by copying something and then pasting of course I want to bloody allow it.

I've tried replicating what you describe by copy pasting text and URLs from and to numerous apps and I've so far never received this popup.

This is on iPad OS 16 betas. Not the phones.

Ok. My bad. Thought it affected both when people here started talking about that "the release is out" but I guess we're talking about a release candidate for ipadOS.

Not looking forward to getting this on my ipad later, then :D

They should add a way to „always allow“ for apps we trust.
Apple typically takes the conservative stance that they need to protect us from ourselves and ultimately, them from litigation. I think many times it's warranted but in this case you should at least be able to bypass the active response and just show a quick notification that a paste from X happened. Much less intrusive yet still helpful.

Being asked if I want to Report Junk every time I delete these SMS OTP codes also gets somewhat annoying.

But it's good to have the option for those (for me, anyways) rare occasions when it is legitimate junk.

It’s good to have the option if it is an option. But to be an option one must be able to opt out. Otherwise it isn’t an option. It’s an annoyance.

iPadOS 16, Beta 3. Every single time I copy and paste between apps, I get this ****ing pop up, or variants thereof. How do I turn this thing off?

I get the privacy deal with clipboard. But options, please.

"Turn Off when pasting between app X and app Y."
Or "Always Allow between app X and app Y", like the add tracking.

Every single time! Yes, FFS, yes. I've already allowed it 5 times between app X and app Y. Just paste!

You know what this reminds me of? THE MICROSOFT PAPERCLIP!
Yes, I know I'm writing a letter. No, I do not need your help because I know how to write a letter!

No, I do not need you to ask my permission because I know I am copying and pasting between apps!
While I do agree that the Paperclip was annoying, it was so cute!

I actually had my husband cut me out a little vinyl sticker of the paperclip to put on the jar that I use at work to hold my paperclips! 😂
