I believe that AFI has announced a similar move.

They most certainly did. And reimbursement payments start in June from my understanding. I’ve been with American family for over 15 years, outstanding service, Quality coverage and they don’t micro-manage when you need to have specific work completed with the choice of your shop. They’ve even supplemented rental car insurance for me in the past (when it wasn’t even available for a policy plan years ago). Nothing negative to say about them whatsoever.

Still nothing from USAA, although their rates are WELL below just about any other "reputable" insurance company.

I think I'm the only person out here who can't find anything interesting to watch on either of them...but at least Netflix doesn't have commercials.
That's better than what I read. Someone said some were only giving $30/$1200 premium.
Progressive is now saying they will offer credits of 20% for April and May. No word on how (or whether) this affects folks who pay 6 months at a time.

That’s what I meant... not Allstate but Progressive... so that’s cool to be getting the credit. Wonder how long it’ll take to see it.

Nationwide now sent an email about a $50 credit that will go to the last payment used. Said it would be applied within 30 days.

Got an EMail from the CEO of USAA yesterday, and they will be giving a 20% credit on two months of premiums. Should happen soon.

yes less driving with people working at home or not working at all.

I’m welcoming this credit, I’ve spent too much in groceries this past week.

Yeah, I said that above, in post #17. I suspect these restrictions will continue through the summer, and thus would hope the insurance companies extend this credit/payment.

Oops, missed your earlier post.

I can't see the country being locked done through the summer. How are people going to survive for another 3-4 months without jobs?

I’ll bet Allstate didn’t give a refund to Dennis Haysbert. That guy’s high risk, the way he spends his days sitting in a chair in the middle of a busy intersection. 😬

Unfortunately, the virus is the cause of more delays. Also, it looks like the Fed is going to step in to provide assistance. I'm sure glad I listened to my wife when we were younger and made it a definitive habit to save.
