Canada, In an igloo obviously.
Well, I've been saving my money for awhile now and I am SO close to being able to afford a MacBook. All I need is just $87.66..

What can I do to pass the time? :) Just so I don't go insane with MS before I finally make the switch to a Mac...

You can think about all the programs you are going to install when you get your Mac.

Put a work ad up on craigslist. I think they have those there saying you are willing to work.

Say you are trying to buy something and just need 88 bucks and are willing to work for that amount. I would stress you are a kid and have been responsibly saving, but need something to help get to your goal.

This is assuming you are young, but I am pretty sure you are.

Or you could mow lawns, go around the neighborhood and spray peoples address on curbs for money, tutor. Look at craigslist.

I work for a blood bank. Many reasons you are asked to stop donating.

Tattoo, piercings, cold, exposed to blood, traveled out of country, underweight, lived outside the country, donated a short while ago, low iron...

Its crazy. I can't donate for another 3 months because I got exposed at work. Had a unit of blood get punctured and it sprayed me across the face, just like the jokers makeup from the batman movie. Taste of blood isn't horrible, but when its someone elses......

One year deferral.

OP you should be able to make 40 bucks a day working for someone. Ask around.

Ok, now I'm curious - is it a story you can share?

Yes. So I had to lie a lot when I filled out my application for donation (like everyone). So basically the stuff I had to lie about on the application was no drug usage (just mary j ;)), and having "sexual relations" with another man . No big lies in my opinion because they test my blood like everyone elses, and I know I'm clean. Anyways I donated their 2 times no problem, and when I went in for my third time I signed in as usual, but some guy pulled me into a separate room and told me they aren't going to let me donate anymore and are putting me on the donor deferral list, because some "reliable source" told them I've have had "homosexual relations" (which is true, but I told them otherwise), when I asked them to reveal this source, they told me they weren't legally allowed to say... so end of that source of easy income. :(

It's okay I am lucky I got to donate at all.

sell the computer that you are using to post on the forums. obviously it's not a mac:D

Mow 5 neighbors lawns for $20 each, or 10 neighbors for $10 each. (or shovel snow, depending on where in the world you are)

Or you can sell the computer you are currently using. You can probably get more than $80 for it anyway, so perhaps you can get a better macbook or some accessories. (Assuming this is your computer and not your parents)

I live in Southwest canada so it's not the time for mowing the lawn or shovelling snow...

And of the two computers I use at my house neither are mine...

1. Start a raffle. Find a $20-$40 item you can part with, and find 90 friends willing to buy a $1 ticket.

2. Sell chocolate bars door-to-door. You Canucks have great chocolate :D

3. Do someone's homework for money. OR Tutor someone for $20/hr.

4. Shave a cat. Glue the hair to your face, don't shower for a few days, and go pan-handle.

You Lied to the Blood bank???

You cannot! Put others at risk by lying to a blood bank this is all a lie who can't get $80? You have friends? Give them one of the things you want to sell if they don't trust you:eek: Then pay them back. My GF just told me :((1)Get off computer)
2)They test for pot at blood banks (she is pre med at Rollins) So I think you are a lier trying to get people to send you money.
