Almost have enough money for a uni MacBook... How can I make $87.66 quickly?

Yes. So I had to lie a lot when I filled out my application for donation (like everyone). So basically the stuff I had to lie about on the application was no drug usage (just mary j ), and having "sexual relations" with another man . No big lies in my opinion because they test my blood like everyone elses, and I know I'm clean. Anyways I donated their 2 times no problem, and when I went in for my third time I signed in as usual, but some guy pulled me into a separate room and told me they aren't going to let me donate anymore and are putting me on the donor deferral list, because some "reliable source" told them I've have had "homosexual relations" (which is true, but I told them otherwise), when I asked them to reveal this source, they told me they weren't legally allowed to say... so end of that source of easy income.

It's okay I am lucky I got to donate at all.

So you lied on your donor form? I don't care what the reason is, that's unacceptable and I'm glad you are banned. There's a reason for the screening process. You're putting people's lives at risk with your actions. What a selfish thing for you to do, all for a couple of bucks.

Ok, so I know this was mentioned, but I have a better idea. Get a trustworthy friend or family member that is in college (or can even "qualify" as in college... student IDs here don't technically expire when you graduate) and get the ed. discount. Offer $50 for thanks since it'll be even cheaper for you! That way you'll save money, you'll make someone happy ($50!), and... I can't think of a third reason, but saving money is awesome!

Good. For the record I don't know anyone in my friends or family who lied when donating blood. That's just something you don't do.

anyways... a way to make some quick money is to just get a job or borrow from ur parents and pay them back later. if u get a job, u should be able to make that cash in about 10-15 hrs of work.

uhh since the OP is a kid, i was assuming somewhere around the neighborhood of minimum wage and just estimated. i guess u could make more money panhandling but, i don't give up my dignity for something that i don't REQUIRE.besides , i said 10 TO 15 hrs

How is it more dangerous? My blood is being screened like everyone elses. No lives are at risk. If it isn't clean they won't use it, end of story. Do you realize how many people lie to donate blood? Probably almost everyone. Half the people at the plasma center look like crack users anyways. It seems completely prejudice to me, when I see the questionnaire specifically ask if "you are a male who's had sexual contact with another male since 1979". That seems very judgmental to me, and excludes a lot of people who could possibly donate to save lives. If I was in the hospital and needed blood I wouldn't care who it was from gay/straight as long as it test clean.

What can I do to pass the time? Just so I don't go insane with MS before I finally make the switch to a Mac...
